Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hasan Tahsin Karakaya kicked off to start the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Ahlat:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ataköy:s goal. The referee gave Ataköy a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sarp Tekrim, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ahlat's Semail Yelesen. 0-1. When Güven Açıkgöz came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ataköy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güven Açıkgöz couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Şerif Vasfi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ataköy's Engin Hirfet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ataköy from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Atahan Zühtü managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ataköy's supporters rose to their feet, but Atahan Zühtü was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Semail Yelesen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ataköy's Güven Açıkgöz got a free kick in the 35th minute. Hasan Tahsin Karakayas short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Engin Hirfet to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. İskender Yankı charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed İskender Yankı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ataköy's Engin Hirfet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Tahsin Karakaya in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Güven Açıkgöz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ataköy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ahlat the free kick. In the 47th minute, Güven Açıkgöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 48 minutes, Engin Hirfet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Atahan Zühtü to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when İskender Yankı got free with Semail Yelesen in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 minutes, Kutay Uygur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ataköy and the Ahlat players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kutay Uygur kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Hasan Tahsin Karakaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Engin Hirfet having to interfere. If Hasan Tahsin Karakaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasan Tahsin Karakaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Engin Hirfet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Tahsin Karakaya in the 69th minute of play. The supporters of Ataköy booed when Ahlat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afşin Cesur didn't get a good kick on the ball. İskender Yankı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Semail Yelesen having to make a save. In the 73rd minute, Ahlat's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Güven Açıkgöz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Ahlat's Resul Özdinçer got a free kick in the 78th minute. Hasan Tahsin Karakaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Engin Hirfet having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Ahlat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Resul Özdinçer to maneuver through the defense. If Hasan Tahsin Karakaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasan Tahsin Karakaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ahlat were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ataköy to leave the ground with a draw.
