Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The tension between the Bayburt SK and the Menderes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mevlüt Ekincioğlu came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Menderes's Onuralp Suavi. But to his dismay, Onuralp Suavi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 played minutes Bayburt SK got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Çağrı Kılıçhan. Bayburt SK's Mevlüt Ekincioğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onuralp Suavi in the 15th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Menderes got a freekick which was hit by Kutlualp Ersavaş. Behlül Verim made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Sami Demirel sent off a good shot on target. Behlül Verim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özal Makul, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th match minute, Menderes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uğur Remiz to maneuver through the defense. Behlül Verim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yusuf Oksu in the 40th minute of play. Yusuf Oksu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Menderes were winning 0-2.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Nafiz Beşir in the 82nd minute of play forced Bayburt SK's goalkeeper Mevlüt Ekincioğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özal Makul in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Behlül Verim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mevlüt Ekincioğlu made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Onuralp Suavi sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Menderes eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
