Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ahmet Nasir Vefa made the kick off which started today's match. Çetin Orguntay kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Tansu Orcun fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Tansu Orcun came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Kalkan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tansu Orcun couldn't finish the play. Can Arslantürk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tansu Orcun in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tansu Orcun got free with Can Arslantürk in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gökalp Turbay during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gökalp Turbay hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Çetin Orguntay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, DERECİKSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nasir Vefa came free, but Can Arslantürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tansu Orcun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Can Arslantürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DERECİKSPOR's Halis Yiğit got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Ahmet Nasir Vefa came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Kalkan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Nasir Vefa couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the game, one of DERECİKSPOR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Kalkan. Erkut Betik stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Can Arslantürk. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cumhur Sabuncuoğlu made a kick off. DERECİKSPOR's Can Arslantürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Nasir Vefa in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Tansu Orcun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kalkan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tansu Orcun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Tansu Orcun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kalkan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Çetin Orguntay during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute, Çetin Orguntay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DERECİKSPOR were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Kalkan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Refik Resul took the corner. 69 minutes into the game, Yavuz Selim Kırman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Can Arslantürk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as DERECİKSPOR's Cumhur Sabuncuoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Berkan Taygun. That made the score 3-1 after 76 minutes of play. If Tansu Orcun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuz Selim Kırman's late challenge caught a DERECİKSPOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yavuz Selim Kırman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kalkan's goalkeeper Berkan Taygun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When DERECİKSPOR's Cumhur Sabuncuoğlu in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The goal made the score 3-2. 95 minutes into the match, Kalkan's Ahmet Nasir Vefa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Can Arslantürk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kalkan fully deserved thier win.
