The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reşat Özil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercüment Lut in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Kandemir Uğurhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pozanti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kandemir Uğurhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Yenisanayi FK's zone, Kandemir Uğurhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halit Erbelgin came out of the goal and Kandemir Uğurhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Pozanti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yenisanayi FK:s goal. In the 30th minute of the game, Yenisanayi FK got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Kandemir Uğurhan made a precise shot to the right of Halit Erbelgin. Yenisanayi FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Pozanti's Kandemir Uğurhan got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Ömür Baytekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cemil Korkutalp in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Halit Erbelgin saved Yenisanayi FK from getting behind. Esat Başhekim charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esat Başhekim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Yenisanayi FK booed when Pozanti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esat Başhekim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cemil Korkutalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Halit Erbelgin having to make a save. When Cemil Korkutalp in the 56th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Halit Erbelgin kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Metehan Oğuzcan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bilal Uzel during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bilal Uzel kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Cemil Korkutalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Metehan Oğuzcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Yenisanayi FK's Bilal Uzel got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 80th play minute Kandemir Uğurhan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Halit Erbelgin. 1-5. If İnanç Sudi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute, Doğuhan Keyhüsrev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pozanti getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Metehan Oğuzcan hit a great ball. The Pozanti supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pozanti would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
