In the 2nd minute, Ufuk Satılmış left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pertek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 5 minutes into the game, Fikret Samet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pertek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pülümür the free kick. Fikret Samet hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pertek's zone, Károly Kiss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atalan Erdoğdu came out of the goal and Károly Kiss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Köksal Keçili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Atalan Erdoğdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atalan Erdoğdu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volkan Tanyeli in the 14th minute of play. Pülümür's Sertaç Kurman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehmet Ferit Baray in the 15th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Acun Cevar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pertek and the Pülümür players grew even worse after the yellow card. Acun Cevar kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sertaç Kurman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Selahaddin Aksungur went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Volkan Tanyeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atalan Erdoğdu having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Pertek's goal looked a bit too open when Köksal Keçili came free, but Atalan Erdoğdu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Pertek defense, Köksal Keçili kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atalan Erdoğdu. The Pertek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atalan Erdoğdu should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aytaç Polatalp got free with Atalan Erdoğdu in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aytaç Polatalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atalan Erdoğdu having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pülümür defense, Mehmet Ferit Baray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sertaç Kurman. The Pülümür fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sertaç Kurman should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ufuk Satılmış stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Köksal Keçili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atalan Erdoğdu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pertek's Atalan Erdoğdu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Köksal Keçili in the 56th minute of play. Atalan Erdoğdu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Köksal Keçili in the 58th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Pertek defense, Köksal Keçili kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atalan Erdoğdu. The Pertek fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atalan Erdoğdu should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Pertek getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mehmet Ferit Baray hit a great ball. Iwo Oborski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Atalan Erdoğdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Köksal Keçili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Atalan Erdoğdu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Károly Kiss, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aytaç Polatalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atalan Erdoğdu having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Alpertunga İmren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atalan Erdoğdu came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Pülümür's Volkan Tanyeli. But to his dismay, Volkan Tanyeli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Károly Kiss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Pertek's Selahaddin Aksungur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4. Aytaç Polatalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Atalan Erdoğdu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fikret Samet made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pülümür's Mustafa Barış Arabacı. The Pülümür manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pertek to win.
