In the 13th minute, Battal Seyyit Algın left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MERT Y.İ. FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of MERT Y.İ. FK booed when Mezarlikbasi JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlhami Tuğsav didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Mezarlikbasi JK's goalkeeper Muhammet Kunt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Battal Seyyit Algın. Recep Akçal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammet Kunt having to interfere. Mezarlikbasi JK's Muhammet Kunt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Mezarlikbasi JK from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes, Mezarlikbasi JK's İlhami Tuğsav shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Vefik Urhan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mezarlikbasi JK reached it. Battal Seyyit Algın sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, MERT Y.İ. FK's Bedri Tefhim got a free kick in the 31st minute. The Mezarlikbasi JK fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Mezarlikbasi JK's Süreyya Kocaalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batıkan Peker in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Vefik Urhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Mezarlikbasi JK's goal looked a bit too open when Recep Akçal came free, but Muhammet Kunt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Battal Seyyit Algın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ahmet Vefik Urhan made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Süreyya Kocaalp sent off a good shot on target. Süreyya Kocaalp let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 56th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. After having played for 60 minutes, Batıkan Peker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mezarlikbasi JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batıkan Peker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recep Akçal in the 65th minute of play forced Mezarlikbasi JK's goalkeeper Muhammet Kunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot by Ahmet Kutsi Yağıztekin from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Ahmet Vefik Urhan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in MERT Y.İ. FK's zone, Batıkan Peker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Vefik Urhan came out of the goal and Batıkan Peker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mezarlikbasi JK's Batıkan Peker got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, MERT Y.İ. FK's Mevlüt Sağun got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Süreyya Kocaalp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Vefik Urhan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Süreyya Kocaalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Vefik Urhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batıkan Peker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, Batıkan Peker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mezarlikbasi JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Batıkan Peker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, MERT Y.İ.
