Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aytaç Niğdeli started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enver Razi in the 5th minute of play forced Sabanözü's goalkeeper Batı Tuyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Reha Ziyaettin's late challenge caught a Sabanözü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Reha Ziyaettin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ikizdere's Ahmet Reha Ziyaettin got a free kick in the 10th minute. Tayyar Sezer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batı Tuyan having to interfere. In the 16th minute Tayyar Sezer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batı Tuyan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enver Razi hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Fikret Sağman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ikizdere booed when Sabanözü was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyfullah Öktuğ didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enver Razi might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Batı Tuyan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enver Razi ran back to his position shaking his head. After 48 minutes, Başaran Özdilek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabanözü and the Ikizdere players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 49th minute of the match Muhsin Tanın shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batı Tuyan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tayyar Sezer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tayyar Sezer struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Batı Tuyan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ikizdere. Ata Elçibey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nebi Günsel having to interfere. If Ata Elçibey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, Sabanözü's Ata Elçibey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nebi Günsel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enver Razi scored 0-1 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Batı Tuyan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Ikizdere players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
