Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aytaç Niğdeli started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Battal Seyyit Algın notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sabanözü's Batı Tuyan. Batı Tuyan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ata Elçibey took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Vefik Urhan. Ahmet Vefik Urhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 18th minute, Recep Akçal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Batı Tuyan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Battal Seyyit Algın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batı Tuyan having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Battal Seyyit Algın managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MERT Y.İ. FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Battal Seyyit Algın was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, one of Sabanözü:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sabanözü. When Bedri Tefhim fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MERT Y.İ. FK's protests and gave Bedri Tefhim a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes MERT Y.İ. FK got a freekick which was hit by Bedri Tefhim. Aytaç Niğdeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ahmet Vefik Urhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Recep Akçal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Battal Seyyit Algın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Batı Tuyan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Recep Akçal's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After the first half MERT Y.İ. FK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Recep Akçal to strike the kick off in the second half. Bedri Tefhim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Vefik Urhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selim Usal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aytaç Niğdeli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Sabanözü's Ata Elçibey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Vefik Urhan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 66th minute, Başaran Özdilek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ahmet Vefik Urhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 72nd minute, Bedri Tefhim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamdullah Tekinsoy was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aytaç Niğdeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Vefik Urhan having to interfere. Recep Akçal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Battal Seyyit Algın got free with Batı Tuyan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute Aytaç Niğdeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Vefik Urhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Recep Yatuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MERT Y.İ. FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabanözü the free kick. After 88 played minutes MERT Y.İ. FK got a freekick which was hit by Recep Yatuk. Battal Seyyit Algın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batı Tuyan having to interfere. Ata Elçibey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ahmet Vefik Urhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
