Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmet Nasir Bekiroğlu started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Sorgun SK booed when Gümüşhane Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emir Ergüden didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Gümüşhane Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Haşmet Osman came free, but Ahmet Hamdi Oncubay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Gümüşhane Spor got a freekick which was hit by Ali Emir Ortun. The audience thought a goal was coming when Selman Onsoy got free with Ahmet Hamdi Oncubay in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorgun SK's goalkeeper Cuma Demirağ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sorgun SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ahmet Nasir Bekiroğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time Gümüşhane Spor's players had a chance to rest. Ahmet Nasir Bekiroğlu shot a long shot in the 34th minute and a light blocked Cuma Demirağ hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-2. With a little luck, Gümüşhane Spor's Ahmet Hamdi Oncubay got control of the ball when Selman Onsoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 40 minutes, Selman Onsoy made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gümüşhane Spor's Ahmet Hamdi Oncubay tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

Ahmet Hamdi Oncubay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haşmet Osman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Hamdi Oncubay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selman Onsoy in the 82nd minute of the match. Akay Kadri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Hamdi Oncubay. Gümüşhane Spor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ahmet Hamdi Oncubay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haşmet Osman in the 96th minute of the match. Sorgun SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
