In the 16th minute of the match Ahmet Koralp Özdoğan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Hamdi Oncubay skillfully saved the ball. After 17 played minutes AKINCILAR got a freekick which was hit by Eyüp Ersunal. Alemdar Cansefa hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eyüp Ersunal in the 24th minute of play forced Gümüşhane Spor's goalkeeper Ahmet Hamdi Oncubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eyüp Ersunal to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute, AKINCILAR's Eyüp Ersunal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. When Eyüp Ersunal came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the AKINCILAR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eyüp Ersunal couldn't finish the play. Kutluay Safvet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Nasir Bekiroğlu in the 73rd minute of the match. When Gümüşhane Spor's Ahmet Nasir Bekiroğlu in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
