The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akil Uludoğan during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sorgun SK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Akil Uludoğan hit a great ball. With a little luck, Sorgun SK's Cuma Demirağ got control of the ball when Hidayet Şahinalp tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ergün Özsan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selman Onsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Selman Onsoy in the 18th minute of play forced Alanya's goalkeeper Ergün Özsan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ergün Özsan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Selman Onsoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Behram Rahmi could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Cuma Demirağ however easily saved by the left post. Selman Onsoy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ergün Özsan having to make a save. Sorgun SK's Selman Onsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sorgun SK's Güralp Uralp couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Alanya. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hidayet Şahinalp to strike the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Barış Tengiz kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Ergün Özsan made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Selman Onsoy sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Selman Onsoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Selman Onsoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sorgun SK's Selman Onsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Selman Onsoy struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ergün Özsan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sorgun SK. After 74 minutes, Behram Rahmi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alanya and the Sorgun SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alanya! In the 75th minute there was a penalty for Sorgun SK. Güralp Uralp stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ergün Özsan. 0-1. 80 minutes into the match, Selman Onsoy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ergün Özsan, 0-2. After 89th play minutes Haşmet Osman shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Ergün Özsan and just under the crossbar into goal. Selman Onsoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Sorgun SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alanya throughout the match.
