Ilgaz Demircan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Halil İbrahim Çeliktaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilgaz Demircan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ilgaz Demircan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Halil İbrahim Çeliktaş was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. After 36 played minutes Galatasaray SK got a freekick which was hit by Beyhan Civanmert. Halil İbrahim Çeliktaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilgaz Demircan in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vacib İren got free with Murathan İskandil in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Osman Taşan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute Arif Ozan Akçiçek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murathan İskandil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
