The tension between the Karamanköy and the rdr spor players grew even worse after the yellow card. rdr spor's Şensoy Akkurt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fevzi Neval in the 8th minute of play. rdr spor's Ekber Lut got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ekber Lut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vehdi Ünalp having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Ekber Lut made a precise shot to the right of Vehdi Ünalp. Karamanköy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 22 played minutes Karamanköy got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Nuri Baştuğ. Ekber Lut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of rdr spor booed when Karamanköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alper Yağın didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karamanköy's Vehdi Ünalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekber Lut in the 26th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Fevzi Neval got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in rdr spor's zone, Recep Tayyip Tugay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şensoy Akkurt came out of the goal and Recep Tayyip Tugay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Karamanköy's Fevzi Neval sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şensoy Akkurt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half rdr spor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ekber Lut stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Karamanköy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erkut Hatmi was slow to take the kick. During this time rdr spor's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Seyfullah Ökmen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Karamanköy's Vehdi Ünalp did a great save. Vehdi Ünalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyfullah Ökmen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Recep Tayyip Tugay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Yaşar Nuri Baştuğ came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Karamanköy fans jumped to their feet.
