The referee ignored Pamukova's protests and gave Cihangir Tunalı a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pera FK booed when Pamukova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cihangir Tunalı didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pamukova's Oğuzcan Olcay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fahrettin Tavil in the 33rd minute of play. Oğuzcan Olcay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gani Satılmış in the 38th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tolga Helvacı made a kick off. 61 minutes into the game, one of Pamukova:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Oğuzcan Olcay made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Gani Satılmış sent off a good shot on target. Pera FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolga Helvacı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oğuzcan Olcay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tolga Helvacı showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 78 minute of play. Gani Satılmış struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Oğuzcan Olcay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pera FK.
