After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Mineiro's zone, Deniz Kalender stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dilmen Uğur came out of the goal and Deniz Kalender tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oğuzkan Özgebay struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Dilmen Uğur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HANZOROSTOCK. Oğuzkan Özgebay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Dilmen Uğur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Günay Avcı charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Günay Avcı the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of HANZOROSTOCK booed when Clube Atlético Mineiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Günay Avcı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Mustafa İzzet Tansu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Clube Atlético Mineiro's Dilmen Uğur didn't even have to move. Clube Atlético Mineiro's Dilmen Uğur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deniz Kalender in the 38th minute of play. Saffet Şahbaz struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Sacit Oksay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Mineiro. After having played for 42 minutes, Erdem Oyanalp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Mineiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erdem Oyanalp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 minutes, Kasım Tümerkan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Mineiro and the HANZOROSTOCK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Clube Atlético Mineiro got a freekick which was hit by Kasım Tümerkan. In the 46th minute, HANZOROSTOCK's Deniz Kalender ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dilmen Uğur. Dilmen Uğur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Deniz Kalender was the one to do the kick off. Saffet Şahbaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Sacit Oksay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Ünal Arabacı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HANZOROSTOCK and the Clube Atlético Mineiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, HANZOROSTOCK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ünal Arabacı to maneuver through the defense. If Saffet Şahbaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Emrullah Sururi fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HANZOROSTOCK's protests and gave Emrullah Sururi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to HANZOROSTOCK getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Emrullah Sururi hit a great ball. Saffet Şahbaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, HANZOROSTOCK's goal looked a bit too open when Erdem Oyanalp came free, but Sacit Oksay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Mineiro's Saffet Şahbaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sacit Oksay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bahadır Uğuş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The HANZOROSTOCK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Clube Atlético Mineiro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
