The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Halil Tanbay came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Adanaspor's Avni Kaan. But to his dismay, Avni Kaan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Devlet Özen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Halil Tanbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vacid Hünerli hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 14 minutes into the match, Dogansehir's goalkeeper Halil Tanbay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Devlet Özen. After a defensive mix-up in Dogansehir's zone, Avni Kaan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil Tanbay came out of the goal and Avni Kaan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Vacid Hünerli put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of İdris Hakan. After 26 played minutes Adanaspor got a freekick which was hit by Muharrem Özbas. After 27 played minutes, Dogansehir's Sezer Palabıyık shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper İdris Hakan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dogansehir reached it. Mustafa Emrah Rafiz hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dogansehir's zone, Avni Kaan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Halil Tanbay came out of the goal and Avni Kaan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Devlet Özen came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Adanaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Devlet Özen couldn't finish the play. Kutlu Sadullah took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised İdris Hakan. İdris Hakan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A hard shot 55 in the game by Kutlu Sadullah from a close distance when the talented İdris Hakan managed to make a qualified save. Adanaspor's players were relieved. Adanaspor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Vacid Hünerli scored to the left of an out of position İdris Hakan, making the score, 1-3. İdris Hakan made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Kutlu Sadullah sent off a good shot on target. Kutlu Sadullah's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, İdris Hakan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. İdris Hakan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vacid Hünerli, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Kutlu Sadullah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dogansehir's supporters rose to their feet, but Kutlu Sadullah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İdris Hakan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. İdris Hakan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vacid Hünerli in the 72nd minute of play. When Dogansehir's Vacid Hünerli in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
