To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lefter Nefi hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ulaş Yordam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eralp Kaynak having to make a save. Rauf Şahiner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulaş Yordam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Derya Aydoğan made the kick off in the second half. If Rauf Şahiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Devlet Özen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derya Aydoğan, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Hocalar FK's Eralp Kaynak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulaş Yordam in the 82nd minute of play. Eralp Kaynak made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Rauf Şahiner sent off a good shot on target. Lefter Nefi charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lefter Nefi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Hocalar FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lefter Nefi to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Ulaş Yordam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rauf Şahiner got free with Eralp Kaynak in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Devrek supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Devrek would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
