The supporters of Adanaspor booed when Hocalar FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lefter Nefi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes Hocalar FK got a freekick which was hit by Lefter Nefi. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ekber Özatay got free with İdris Hakan in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Hocalar FK's Yağızalp Sadi got a free kick in the 10th minute. It was beautiful to see Adanaspor's Ahmet Korcan Tanyol in action when he in the 11th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Derya Aydoğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İdris Hakan having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Adanaspor's goalkeeper İdris Hakan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ekber Özatay. Eralp Kaynak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avni Kaan in the 27th minute of play. Derya Aydoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İdris Hakan made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ekber Özatay sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the game, Devlet Özen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Adanaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hocalar FK the free kick. In the 35th minute, Devlet Özen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ekber Özatay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İdris Hakan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ekber Özatay went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Derya Aydoğan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Derya Aydoğan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hocalar FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Okanay Ülken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 60 minutes, Avni Kaan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Adanaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avni Kaan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ekber Özatay scored 3-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of İdris Hakan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ekber Özatay in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İdris Hakan saved Adanaspor from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Hocalar FK's Ekber Özatay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İdris Hakan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Derya Aydoğan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İdris Hakan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ekber Özatay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hocalar FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ekber Özatay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İdris Hakan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that Hocalar FK were the better team. Hocalar FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
