Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) An unexpectedly hard shot by Fuat Bülbül in the 10th minute of play forced Espiye's goalkeeper Saadettin Reyyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tibet Toygun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ahmet Baki Melih tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fehmi Malik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mirkelam Koçubey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tibet Toygun struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Ahmet Baki Melih didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espiye. Bayhan Akıncıbeyoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bayhan Akıncıbeyoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes, Espiye's Baran Gümüşcüoğlu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Baki Melih came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Espiye reached it. Ahmet Baki Melih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hızır Beyzade, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Tibet Toygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fehmi Malik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saadettin Reyyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fuat Bülbül in the 36th minute of play. Saadettin Reyyan came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Istanbul FK's Fuat Bülbül. But to his dismay, Fuat Bülbül quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Istanbul FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Istanbul FK's Fuat Bülbül, in the 52nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Istanbul FK. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fuat Bülbül in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saadettin Reyyan saved Espiye from getting behind. Istanbul FK's Fuat Bülbül got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fehmi Malik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saadettin Reyyan having to interfere. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Espiye's goalkeeper Saadettin Reyyan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Onur Okanay fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espiye's protests and gave Onur Okanay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, Espiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onur Okanay to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Fehmi Malik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fuat Bülbül received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fehmi Malik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Espiye's Saadettin Reyyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fuat Bülbül in the 87th minute of play. Fehmi Malik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saadettin Reyyan having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Fehmi Malik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Istanbul FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fehmi Malik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saadettin Reyyan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Espiye's Onur Okanay got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Onur Okanay off the ground. After a rather tough play, Espiye's Onur Okanay got a free kick in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Espiye's goalkeeper Saadettin Reyyan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fehmi Malik. The Espiye fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Istanbul FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
