When Tottenham's Vahap Han in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye OguzKaan's goalie prevented a goal. When Tuncer Yağınalp fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OguzKaan's protests and gave Tuncer Yağınalp a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Kağan Nevsal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yahya Kemal Kalagay in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Erenay Bahar threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tottenham's Gürel Bektaş quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Gürel Bektaş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tottenham's supporters rose to their feet, but Gürel Bektaş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kubilay Lokman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Yahya Kemal Kalagay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Kağan Nevsal was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Tottenham's kaya Bekiroğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Gürel Bektaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuralp Savtuna hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Vahap Han in the 38th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 41st minute of the match Nuralp Savtuna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Kağan Nevsal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tottenham's Ali Kağan Nevsal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şensoy Selahaddin in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rıdvan Kanver in the 46th minute of play forced Tottenham's goalkeeper Ali Kağan Nevsal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vahap Han stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Rıdvan Kanver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Kağan Nevsal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ali Kağan Nevsal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erenay Bahar went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Tottenham getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Dündar Bostan hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Şensoy Selahaddin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ali Kağan Nevsal. The goal made the score 0-2. In the 68th minute, Hüseyin Salah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şensoy Selahaddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezmi Arslangiray in the 77th minute of play forced OguzKaan's goalkeeper Kubilay Lokman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şensoy Selahaddin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ali Kağan Nevsal made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, OguzKaan's Rıdvan Kanver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Kağan Nevsal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ali Kağan Nevsal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuncer Yağınalp in the 90th minute of the match. Kubilay Lokman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezmi Arslangiray in the 95th minute of play. Vahap Han received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Kubilay Lokman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The OguzKaan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing OguzKaan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
