Atasehir SK's Kandemir Akkoç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedrettin Hasankeyf in the 21st minute of play. When Kigi's Nuralp Sıraç in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atasehir SK's goalie prevented a goal. Nuralp Sıraç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kandemir Akkoç having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atasehir SK's zone, Nuralp Sıraç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kandemir Akkoç came out of the goal and Nuralp Sıraç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 played minutes Atasehir SK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Arif Lütfi. Kandemir Akkoç stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bedrettin Hasankeyf's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bedrettin Hasankeyf made a kick off. With a little luck, Atasehir SK's Kandemir Akkoç got control of the ball when Nuralp Sıraç tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atasehir SK's İsmail Coşan got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, one of Atasehir SK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Atasehir SK. Kandemir Akkoç had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Tuna Tümerkan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Tuna Tümerkan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kandemir Akkoç. Atasehir SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tuna Tümerkan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With his leg Kandemir Akkoç managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Kigi's Nuralp Sıraç fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bedrettin Hasankeyf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kigi's supporters rose to their feet, but Bedrettin Hasankeyf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kandemir Akkoç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When İsmail Coşan fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atasehir SK's protests and gave İsmail Coşan a yellow card for diving instead. Nuralp Sıraç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kandemir Akkoç made a huge save. Atasehir SK's Ahmet Tolga Çelikoz got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kigi's goalkeeper Osman Nuri Aktay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kandemir Akkoç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedrettin Hasankeyf in the 90th minute of the match. Kigi's Bedrettin Hasankeyf got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bedrettin Hasankeyf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rıfat Baysu hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When Bedrettin Hasankeyf came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Kigi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bedrettin Hasankeyf couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, İsmail Coşan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atasehir SK's supporters rose to their feet, but İsmail Coşan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Osman Nuri Aktay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Kigi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
