Bulut Sudi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tarık Kantürk in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Gümüshane JK's goal looked a bit too open when Tarık Kantürk came free, but Bulut Sudi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bulut Sudi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tarık Kantürk's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Ali Numan Kadri hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Cevahir Çetinoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bulut Sudi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Enes Denizalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tolunay Baybars came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Gümüshane JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tolunay Baybars couldn't finish the play. After 33 played minutes Gümüshane JK got a freekick which was hit by Cüneyt Eröz. When Tarık Kantürk came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Yesilyurt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tarık Kantürk couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Yesilyurt booed when Gümüshane JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolunay Baybars didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Ahmet Çağrı Yasık in the 38th minute really tested Ahmet Seyfi Balatekin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 40th match minute, Yesilyurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cengiz Onul to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sertel Yergin in the 41st minute of play forced Yesilyurt's goalkeeper Ahmet Seyfi Balatekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarık Kantürk might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bulut Sudi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tarık Kantürk ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Gümüshane JK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hamit Özbil hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gümüshane JK's zone, Cevahir Çetinoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bulut Sudi came out of the goal and Cevahir Çetinoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Yesilyurt's Ahmet Seyfi Balatekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdi Nurkan in the 54th minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gümüshane JK's goalkeeper Bulut Sudi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Hüseyin Cahit Kunt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sertel Yergin, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Enes Denizalp kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tarık Kantürk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bulut Sudi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cevahir Çetinoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cevahir Çetinoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bulut Sudi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tolunay Baybars kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Tarık Kantürk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bulut Sudi. Gümüshane JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tarık Kantürk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Hüseyin Cahit Kunt kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Cevahir Çetinoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bulut Sudi having to make a save. Erdi Nurkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Yesilyurt getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Hüseyin Cahit Kunt hit a great ball. The Gümüshane JK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yesilyurt's performance. The match ended with a win for Yesilyurt.
