Mirza Aktan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Demiralp Demir in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Hayrettin Uğursoy got a free kick in the 5th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Mirza Aktan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hüsmen Yordam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cihan Yanal having to interfere. Lemi Uludoğan charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lemi Uludoğan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lemi Uludoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. If Aziz Kornes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galatasaray's Gazanfer Bender got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the BTD defense, Hüsmen Yordam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cihan Yanal. The BTD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cihan Yanal should have stopped the shot. When Gazanfer Bender came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Galatasaray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gazanfer Bender couldn't finish the play. Hüsmen Yordam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cihan Yanal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, BTD's Mirza Aktan threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aziz Kornes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 40 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goalkeeper Mirza Aktan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demiralp Demir. Hüsmen Yordam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cihan Yanal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Aziz Kornes made the kick off in the second half. Mirza Aktan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aziz Kornes's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Cihan Yanal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gazanfer Bender in the 61st minute. If Demiralp Demir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. After 77 minutes, Aziz Kornes made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Galatasaray's Mirza Aktan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hüsmen Yordam's late challenge caught a BTD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hüsmen Yordam helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Hüsmen Yordam got a free kick in the 87th minute. Mirza Aktan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Demiralp Demir's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After 88 minutes of play Galatasaray's Lemi Uludoğan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Lemi Uludoğan got a free kick in the 89th minute. Demiralp Demir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirza Aktan having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Gazanfer Bender recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cihan Yanal. Gazanfer Bender showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2.
