Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik's Aktuğ Orbay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Avcılar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rıdvan Ünverdi to maneuver through the defense. Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik's Kaptan Kahya got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik's Aktuğ Orbay in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Avcılar's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ataman Ulucağ in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hakkı Özyurek saved Avcılar from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Aktuğ Orbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik's supporters rose to their feet, but Aktuğ Orbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hakkı Özyurek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Ataman Ulucağ had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hakkı Özyurek. Avcılar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ataman Ulucağ was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Saltuk Ceylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Işık Tanırcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Sait Acaröz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 28 minutes, Saltuk Ceylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avcılar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saltuk Ceylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saltuk Ceylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Işık Tanırcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kaptan Kahya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Işık Tanırcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saltuk Ceylan in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktuğ Orbay in the 46th minute of play forced Avcılar's goalkeeper Hakkı Özyurek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Saltuk Ceylan made the kick off in the second half. Sait Acaröz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Ataman Ulucağ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaptan Kahya succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 58th playminute. If Ataman Ulucağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik booed when Avcılar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saltuk Ceylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Avcılar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sait Acaröz to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Turan Mutluer in the 69th minute really tested Hakkı Özyurek's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ataman Ulucağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakkı Özyurek having to interfere. Aktuğ Orbay struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Hakkı Özyurek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik. Hakkı Özyurek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataman Ulucağ, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik's Ataman Ulucağ got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Emre Ergüleç got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Kaptan Kahya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avcılar the free kick. 84 minutes into the match, Şeref Hasret notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik's Işık Tanırcan. Işık Tanırcan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Saltuk Ceylan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute, Feyyaz Uluberk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ataman Ulucağ could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Hakkı Özyurek made a huge save. Hakkı Özyurek made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Ataman Ulucağ sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute, Avcılar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kaptan Kahya fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik played a much better game than Avcılar and deserved their victory. The Avcılar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
