But to his dismay, Selahaddin Gündüz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, KOPUZLAR FK's Ahmet Nedim Dokuzoğlu got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a rather tough play, KOPUZLAR FK's Ruhi Akarsu got a free kick in the 18th minute. Hayati Tümerkin's late challenge caught a Balat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hayati Tümerkin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Hayati Tümerkin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24 played minutes, Balat's Berke Sayyad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Baki Dündar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Balat reached it. After a defensive mix-up in KOPUZLAR FK's zone, Yücel Sarim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Baki Dündar came out of the goal and Yücel Sarim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, Selahaddin Gündüz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Baki Dündar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selahaddin Gündüz in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Balat's Turgay Dilsuz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Baki Dündar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Selahaddin Gündüz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Baki Dündar having to interfere. Ahmet Baki Dündar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Selahaddin Gündüz's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Balat's Selahaddin Gündüz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ahmet Baki Dündar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

55 minutes into the match, KOPUZLAR FK's goal looked a bit too open when Selahaddin Gündüz came free, but Ahmet Baki Dündar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turgay Dilsuz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ahmet Baki Dündar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turgay Dilsuz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Ahmet Baki Dündar made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, KOPUZLAR FK's goal looked a bit too open when Selahaddin Gündüz came free, but Ahmet Baki Dündar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Turgay Dilsuz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Ahmet Baki Dündar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 84th minute, Arif Bilge Başoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abdurrahim Demirman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes KOPUZLAR FK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Nedim Dokuzoğlu. The supporters of Balat booed when KOPUZLAR FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hurşit Timuroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Baki Dündar was a little too slow when Selahaddin Gündüz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 0-5. Balat played a much better game than KOPUZLAR FK and deserved their victory. The KOPUZLAR FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
