An unexpectedly hard shot by Selahaddin Gündüz in the 4th minute of play forced Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik's goalkeeper Işık Tanırcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Aktuğ Orbay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bektaş Veli Zülfü was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 29th minute Selahaddin Gündüz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Işık Tanırcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aktuğ Orbay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Bektaş Veli Zülfü tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andaç Toregün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aktuğ Orbay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Ataman Ulucağ managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sivas Yeni Kale Birlik's supporters rose to their feet, but Ataman Ulucağ was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bektaş Veli Zülfü breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emre Ergüleç took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bektaş Veli Zülfü. Bektaş Veli Zülfü dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Bektaş Veli Zülfü took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlbey Okyanus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
