Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tolgahan Çetinalp started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute of the match Utkan Ensar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Hakan Sidar skillfully saved the ball. Ahmet Hakan Sidar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şinasi Şiraz in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celal Yiğiter in the 11th minute of play forced EDİRNESPOR's goalkeeper Ahmet Hakan Sidar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Ali Cengiz Özmert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Haydar Rahmi fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atakent's protests and gave Haydar Rahmi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Haydar Rahmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Celal Yiğiter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atakent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EDİRNESPOR the free kick. The supporters of EDİRNESPOR booed when Atakent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celal Yiğiter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Tolgahan Çetinalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. EDİRNESPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Tolgahan Çetinalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arkın Tecelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. EDİRNESPOR's Ramiz Çırağ quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Niyazi İlmen, made in the 21st minute of the game. Aykut Mithat hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Numan Onbulak got free with Ahmet Hakan Sidar in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, EDİRNESPOR's Tolgahan Çetinalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arkın Tecelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, EDİRNESPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiz Çırağ to maneuver through the defense. Mustafa Anıl Tayman hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celal Yiğiter made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Aytaç User managed to get in a good position for a shot. EDİRNESPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Aytaç User was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arkın Tecelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, EDİRNESPOR's Mustafa Anıl Tayman got a free kick in the 59th minute. Arkın Tecelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aytaç User in the 62nd minute. Tolgahan Çetinalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. EDİRNESPOR's Ali Cengiz Özmert got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Hakan Sidar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haydar Rahmi in the 71st minute of the match. Dilaver Semi struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Arkın Tecelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EDİRNESPOR. EDİRNESPOR made a substitution. İldeniz Taci replaced Dilaver Semi. After a rather tough play, Atakent's Haydar Rahmi got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Celal Yiğiter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ahmet Hakan Sidar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Aytaç User fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Niyazi İlmen made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by EDİRNESPOR's Ahmet Ömür Peyami. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the EDİRNESPOR players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
