The EDİRNESPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Ramiz Çırağ kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Tolga Uğurlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmet Hakan Sidar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aytaç User could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Özkan Yoruk made a huge save. Ahmet Hakan Sidar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buğra Hirfanlı in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aytaç User kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Özkan Yoruk. That made the score 3-1 in the 43 minute of play. Başaran Umar kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tolgahan Çetinalp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of EDİRNESPOR booed when Fatsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Başaran Umar didn't get a good kick on the ball. EDİRNESPOR made a substitution. Ahmet Ömür Peyami replaced Ramiz Çırağ. If İldeniz Taci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dilaver Semi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özkan Yoruk having to interfere. Halil İbrahim İncirli made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tolga Uğurlu. Aytaç User scored 5-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özkan Yoruk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 91 minutes, Tolga Uğurlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fatsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolga Uğurlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Özkan Yoruk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ömür Peyami in the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. EDİRNESPOR fully deserved thier win.
