The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Haldun Faydalı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hatemi Tor in the 16th minute of the match. Gürbüz Sk's Kemalettin Yoran got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ekrem Toygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abuzer Azer hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Haldun Faydalı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hatemi Tor in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Gürbüz Sk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kemalettin Yoran to maneuver through the defense. Hatemi Tor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haldun Faydalı having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hatemi Tor in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Haldun Faydalı saved Gürbüz Sk from getting behind. Hatemi Tor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Hatemi Tor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haldun Faydalı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hatemi Tor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haldun Faydalı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Muhammet Cihansah in the 42nd minute of play. Hatemi Tor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haldun Faydalı read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Hatemi Tor struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Haldun Faydalı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuzlukcu. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hatemi Tor made a kick off. Haldun Faydalı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muhammet Cihansah in the 51st minute. Tuzlukcu's Muhammet Cihansah got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hatemi Tor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hatemi Tor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haldun Faydalı came out and tried to block the shot, but Hatemi Tor slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 60th minute. Yaşar Hidayet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Altan Kurban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ekrem Toygun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hatemi Tor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuzlukcu's Muhammet Cihansah got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Latif Sidar hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gürbüz Sk's Ahmet Göktuğ Talip got a free kick in the 96th minute. Hatemi Tor struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Haldun Faydalı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuzlukcu. Tuzlukcu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
