After a defensive mix-up in Tirebolu SK's zone, Altan Kurban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adnan Kutuner came out of the goal and Altan Kurban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Nedim Durak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Haldun Faydalı was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haldun Faydalı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Malkoçoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Gürbüz Sk's goalkeeper Haldun Faydalı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nedim Durak. 31 minutes in the game, Baran Malkoçoğlu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Haldun Faydalı having to interfere. Haldun Faydalı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baran Malkoçoğlu in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Nedim Durak notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gürbüz Sk's Haldun Faydalı. Haldun Faydalı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Baran Malkoçoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Gürbüz Sk's goal looked a bit too open when Baran Malkoçoğlu came free, but Haldun Faydalı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Ekrem Toygun made a precise shot to the right of Adnan Kutuner. Tirebolu SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Tirebolu SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Nedim Durak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haldun Faydalı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Gürbüz Sk defense, Nedim Durak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haldun Faydalı. The Gürbüz Sk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haldun Faydalı should have stopped the shot.
