Batur Durukan was slow to take the kick. During this time Veliköyspor FK's players had a chance to rest. Samim Ersoy scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aktaç Ünaldi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bünyamin Hüdayioğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bünyamin Hüdayioğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th match minute, Veliköyspor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bünyamin Hüdayioğlu to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Fikret Hüdayioğlu made a kick off. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. After 60 played minutes Veliköyspor FK got a freekick which was hit by Kutlu Ilgaz. If Eren Özaydın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th match minute, Veliköyspor FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halit Ziya Baykır to maneuver through the defense. Aktaç Ünaldi made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Hacı Bintuğ sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the game, Halit Ziya Baykır was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Veliköyspor FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tophane JK the free kick. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Tophane JK's Ali Haydar Öztay got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aktaç Ünaldi. 88 minutes into the match, Kutlu Ilgaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ergincan Arslan. Tophane JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kutlu Ilgaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. During the 100th minute of the match Halit Ziya Baykır completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Halit Ziya Baykır a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Although Veliköyspor FK had been in control for most of the match, Tophane JK still came away with the win.
