Berkant Kabil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Talha Tuz having to interfere. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Selendi's goalkeeper Talha Tuz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Berkant Kabil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Talha Tuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selendi's Talha Tuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuratay Mertel in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Berkant Kabil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. İbişspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berkant Kabil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 39th minute Nuratay Mertel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Talha Tuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Selendi's Bilgehan Ilgın got a free kick in the 41st minute. A hard shot by Barlas Kamver from long distance, 42 minutes into the match, got Talha Tuz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Balaban Çetintürk to make the kick off. Aygün Yorgun hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes Balaban Çetintürk rounded İbişspor's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Barış Ataergin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a little luck, İbişspor's Saruhan Baysungur got control of the ball when Alpay Şakib tried to sneak it across the goal line.
