After having played for 14 minutes, Nuratay Mertel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. İbişspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuratay Mertel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berkant Kabil got free with Tolga Gümüşsoy in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Mehmet Şefik Yergin fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piraziz's protests and gave Mehmet Şefik Yergin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, Piraziz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Şefik Yergin to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, İbişspor's Tolga Gümüşsoy threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nuratay Mertel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nuratay Mertel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nuratay Mertel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Atay İnciroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in İbişspor's zone, Zülfikar Müşfik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saruhan Baysungur came out of the goal and Zülfikar Müşfik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, İbişspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barlas Kamver to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Şefik Yergin in the 37th minute of play forced İbişspor's goalkeeper Saruhan Baysungur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vacid İhsan kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Tolga Gümüşsoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuratay Mertel went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The audience was convinced that Nuratay Mertel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolga Gümüşsoy was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Piraziz's supporters rose to their feet, but Atay İnciroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saruhan Baysungur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korkut Avcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Barış Ataergin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. İbişspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piraziz the free kick. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for İbişspor! When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Piraziz's Gani Kuthan got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Saruhan Baysungur. If Berkant Kabil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Piraziz's goal looked a bit too open when Nuratay Mertel came free, but Tolga Gümüşsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Atay İnciroğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piraziz's Tolga Gümüşsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuratay Mertel in the 96th minute of play. A collision led to Piraziz getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Necmi Akyazıcı hit a great ball. Nuratay Mertel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga Gümüşsoy having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
