Uluç Ungur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vedat Demirman's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. If Vedat Demirman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Tirebolu SK's Ahmet Ege Hasanoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uluç Ungur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Vedat Demirman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Uluç Ungur, 2-0. Aykut Aktaç hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Tirebolu SK's Vedat Demirman got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the game, Tirebolu SK's Nuri Tecer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uluç Ungur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Taksim JK's Nuri Öktürk got a free kick in the 29th minute. Aykut Aktaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Uluç Ungur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vedat Demirman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uluç Ungur having to make a save. After 40 played minutes Tirebolu SK got a freekick which was hit by Aytuğ Bozbora. Fadıl Bardakçı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Vedat Demirman made the kick off in the second half. Adnan Vacit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uluç Ungur having to interfere. If Vedat Demirman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bayram Yiğit came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Taksim JK's Nuri Öktürk. But to his dismay, Nuri Öktürk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adnan Vacit in the 66th minute of play forced Taksim JK's goalkeeper Uluç Ungur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes, Ahmet Ege Hasanoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tirebolu SK and the Taksim JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tirebolu SK's Ahmet Ege Hasanoğlu got a free kick in the 69th minute. The audience was convinced that Vedat Demirman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uluç Ungur was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Uluç Ungur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vedat Demirman, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
