Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rüstem Şakir started the match with the kick off. After 10 played minutes Taksim JK got a freekick which was hit by Çelebi İdris. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rüstem Şakir in the 11th minute of play forced Taksim JK's goalkeeper Uluç Ungur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uluç Ungur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Boran Taşgan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Taksim JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çelebi İdris to maneuver through the defense. If Nuri Öktürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taksim JK's Uluç Ungur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Boran Taşgan in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Ahmet Boran Taşgan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rüstem Şakir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ahmet Boran Taşgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Boran Taşgan struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Uluç Ungur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaziantep. 26 minutes into the match, Taksim JK's goal looked a bit too open when Rüstem Şakir came free, but Uluç Ungur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rüstem Şakir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Uluç Ungur was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Gaziantep's Güney Çelikkan got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Uluç Ungur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüstem Şakir in the 37th minute of play. Rüstem Şakir took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uluç Ungur. Uluç Ungur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Nuri Öktürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Taksim JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gaziantep were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fadıl Bardakçı to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Rüstem Şakir tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Uluç Ungur saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rüstem Şakir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Boran Taşgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rüstem Şakir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Rüstem Şakir fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Uluç Ungur, passed just outside the right post. In the 62ndth minute of the game Rüstem Şakir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taksim JK's Uluç Ungur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rüstem Şakir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uluç Ungur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Şansal Özbilgin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fadıl Bardakçı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uluç Ungur made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Ahmet Boran Taşgan sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute İrfan Kaveloğlu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Taksim JK's Çelebi İdris got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Çelebi İdris off the ground. In the 73rd minute, Çelebi İdris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taksim JK's Uluç Ungur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Taksim JK from getting a goal against them. Uluç Ungur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Boran Taşgan in the 77th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Taksim JK's goalkeeper Uluç Ungur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Boran Taşgan. Aytek Aşkın blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Uluç Ungur having to make a save. With a little luck, Taksim JK's Uluç Ungur got control of the ball when Ahmet Boran Taşgan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Ahmet Boran Taşgan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uluç Ungur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Gaziantep left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Taksim JK.
