Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Balamir Sözmen took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balamir Sözmen during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Taksim JK booed when KAS EUPEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferman Mümtaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute Balamir Sözmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uluç Ungur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, KAS EUPEN's goalkeeper Ahmet İlke Türe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuri Öktürk. A collision led to Taksim JK getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mustafa Haydar Köksal hit a great ball. After 29 played minutes KAS EUPEN got a freekick which was hit by Ferman Mümtaz. Ahmet İlke Türe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fadıl Bardakçı in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Fadıl Bardakçı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taksim JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Fadıl Bardakçı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ahmet İlke Türe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nuri Öktürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet İlke Türe having to interfere. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taksim JK's goalkeeper Uluç Ungur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nuri Öktürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nuri Öktürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet İlke Türe having to interfere. Fadıl Bardakçı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, one of KAS EUPEN:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KAS EUPEN. In the 84th minute, KAS EUPEN's Ahmet Bülent Dilsafa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Uluç Ungur. Uluç Ungur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 87 minutes into the game, Fadıl Bardakçı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ahmet İlke Türe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Selahaddin Şerefhan kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ahmet İlke Türe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çelebi İdris's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. If Nuri Öktürk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nuri Öktürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet İlke Türe having to interfere. Taksim JK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
