Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) İskender Özerol started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Şansal Özbilgin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İskender Özerol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 minutes, İrfan Kaveloğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaziantep and the Erbaaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th match minute, Gaziantep was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İrfan Kaveloğlu to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the game, Gaziantep's Rüstem Şakir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Turan Umut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Boran Taşgan in the 21st minute of play forced Erbaaspor's goalkeeper Turan Umut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rüstem Şakir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Erbaaspor getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Armağan Özgunay hit a great ball. Turan Umut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüstem Şakir in the 28th minute of play. Sertel Bakırhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şansal Özbilgin having to interfere. In the 41st minute Rüstem Şakir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Umut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aytek Aşkın in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Turan Umut saved Erbaaspor from getting behind. If Ahmet Boran Taşgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rüstem Şakir was the one to do the kick off. İskender Özerol's late challenge caught a Gaziantep's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İskender Özerol helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Erbaaspor getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. İskender Özerol hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Rüstem Şakir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaziantep's supporters rose to their feet, but Rüstem Şakir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turan Umut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rüstem Şakir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armağan Özgunay during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 78th minute of the match Güney Çelikkan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Turan Umut skillfully saved the ball. In the 81st minute, İskender Özerol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erbaaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, Erbaaspor's Turan Umut got control of the ball when Ahmet Boran Taşgan tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Gaziantep left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Erbaaspor.
