Fetih Hürsel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İsmail Hakkı Reca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Fetih Hürsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. İsmail Hakkı Reca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İsmail Hakkı Reca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçe Vecid, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökçe Vecid in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg İsmail Hakkı Reca saved ULTRAASLAN SK from getting behind. Fetih Hürsel struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. İsmail Hakkı Reca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kösk. 23 minutes into the match, ULTRAASLAN SK's goal looked a bit too open when Fetih Hürsel came free, but İsmail Hakkı Reca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ULTRAASLAN SK's İsmail Hakkı Reca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fetih Hürsel in the 26th minute of play. Yaman Babaoğlu's late challenge caught a ULTRAASLAN SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yaman Babaoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. Galip Başat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ULTRAASLAN SK booed when Kösk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yaman Babaoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Akın Talayman fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ULTRAASLAN SK's protests and gave Akın Talayman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ULTRAASLAN SK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Akın Talayman hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Galip Başat to make the kick off. If Fetih Hürsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gökçe Vecid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kösk's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökçe Vecid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İsmail Hakkı Reca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gökçe Vecid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmail Hakkı Reca having to interfere. Kösk played a much better game than ULTRAASLAN SK and deserved their victory. The ULTRAASLAN SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
