The supporters of Real Madrid FC booed when ANKARAGÜCÜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zekai Erol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erdal Sağınç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Necmettin İçkin in the 39th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Zekai Erol made the kick off in the second half. When Abdulvahit Sururi fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ANKARAGÜCÜ's protests and gave Abdulvahit Sururi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Madrid FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Şeray Altıncı hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Hamdullah Tokcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
