The supporters of Akdeniz .. booed when Kelkit FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umut Ahi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Göktürk Sancaktar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Birol Okyanus. Kelkit FK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aktuğ Üster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Hayri Lut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erdeniz Nuralp in the 8th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Akdeniz ..'s zone, Erdeniz Nuralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Hayri Lut came out of the goal and Erdeniz Nuralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Süreyya Temizalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ahmet Hayri Lut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Akdeniz ..'s zone, Erdeniz Nuralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Hayri Lut came out of the goal and Erdeniz Nuralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdeniz Nuralp in the 24th minute of play forced Akdeniz ..'s goalkeeper Ahmet Hayri Lut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umut Ahi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes, Akdeniz ..'s Ceyhan Haneci shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Birol Okyanus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Akdeniz .. reached it. Süreyya Temizalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ahmet Hayri Lut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Süreyya Temizalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Hayri Lut. Akdeniz ..'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Süreyya Temizalp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When Erdeniz Nuralp came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Kelkit FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erdeniz Nuralp couldn't finish the play. Süreyya Temizalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Hayri Lut having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Akdeniz ..'s goal looked a bit too open when Erdeniz Nuralp came free, but Ahmet Hayri Lut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kelkit FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Babür Akçam scored to the left of an out of position Birol Okyanus, making the score, 1-3. After the first half Kelkit FK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erdeniz Nuralp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erdeniz Nuralp took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Hayri Lut. Ahmet Hayri Lut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 58th minute, Süreyya Temizalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erdeniz Nuralp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Hayri Lut having to make a save. Akdeniz ..'s Ahmet Hayri Lut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Süreyya Temizalp in the 64th minute of play. Kelkit FK's Umut Ahi suffered a sore thigh after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 65 minutes, Göktürk Sancaktar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akdeniz .. and the Kelkit FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kelkit FK made a substitution. Rafet Çoğun replaced Umut Ahi. Göktürk Sancaktar kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Süreyya Temizalp in the 69th minute of play forced Akdeniz ..'s goalkeeper Ahmet Hayri Lut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Kelkit FK's Erdeniz Nuralp made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Hayri Lut was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute, Aktuğ Üster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Kelkit FK got a freekick which was hit by Rafet Çoğun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Devrim Devan in the 92nd minute of play forced Kelkit FK's goalkeeper Birol Okyanus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hakkı Devrim Devan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Kelkit FK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Akdeniz ...
