After 3 played minutes Kelkit FK got a freekick which was hit by Namık Köksan. The MuwelleSpor fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when MuwelleSpor's Orhun Ulun looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Birol Okyanus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arda Şahin in the 10th minute of play. After 12 played minutes MuwelleSpor got a freekick which was hit by Şükrü Sait. After a rather tough play, Kelkit FK's Aktuğ Üster got a free kick in the 13th minute. Birol Okyanus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şakir Adalı, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Erdeniz Nuralp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kelkit FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erdeniz Nuralp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arif Bilge Sadan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orhun Ulun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Okyanus having to interfere. Boğaçhan Harzemşah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Okyanus having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orhun Ulun in the 44th minute of play forced Kelkit FK's goalkeeper Birol Okyanus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birol Okyanus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boğaçhan Harzemşah in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Zafer Kutsan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, MuwelleSpor's Osman Kantürk broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Arda Şahin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MuwelleSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arda Şahin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Şükrü Sait in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kelkit FK's Namık Köksan. If Erdeniz Nuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uğuralp Hünerli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Birol Okyanus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Kelkit FK's Süreyya Temizalp made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arif Bilge Sadan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Süreyya Temizalp charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Süreyya Temizalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of MuwelleSpor booed when Kelkit FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süreyya Temizalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uğuralp Hünerli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Birol Okyanus made a huge save. Birol Okyanus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şakir Adalı in the 87th minute of the match. Yalçın Mukaddes scored 1-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Birol Okyanus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Kelkit FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MuwelleSpor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
