Gencal İlkutay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hazar Saraçoğlu hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. BOSHPORUS's Batu Cem Tanberk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Birol Okyanus but with some difficulty. Yüksel Özsungur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Okyanus having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Kelkit FK's goalkeeper Birol Okyanus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yüksel Özsungur. In the 13th match minute, Kelkit FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aktuğ Üster to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlker Usare in the 14th minute of play forced Kelkit FK's goalkeeper Birol Okyanus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gencal İlkutay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süreyya Temizalp in the 19th minute of play. After 20 played minutes BOSHPORUS got a freekick which was hit by Turgay Yeltekin. After 32 played minutes Kelkit FK got a freekick which was hit by Umut Ahi. If Süreyya Temizalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erdeniz Nuralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Süreyya Temizalp scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gencal İlkutay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlker Usare in the 44th minute of play forced Kelkit FK's goalkeeper Birol Okyanus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Kelkit FK fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Kelkit FK's Süreyya Temizalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The BOSHPORUS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kelkit FK were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erdeniz Nuralp to strike the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Kelkit FK's goal looked a bit too open when Yüksel Özsungur came free, but Birol Okyanus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Süreyya Temizalp came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Kelkit FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Süreyya Temizalp couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the game, Bora Keskiner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BOSHPORUS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kelkit FK the free kick. The supporters of Kelkit FK booed when BOSHPORUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bora Keskiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Süreyya Temizalp came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Kelkit FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Süreyya Temizalp couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, BOSHPORUS's Selman Eyüp got a free kick in the 67th minute. Berkant Toygun hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes Kelkit FK got a freekick which was hit by Aktuğ Üster. Birol Okyanus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlker Usare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Birol Okyanus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İlker Usare in the 75th minute of the match. Erdeniz Nuralp succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 76th playminute. In the 85th minute Süreyya Temizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencal İlkutay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Süreyya Temizalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencal İlkutay having to interfere. In the 90th minute Aktuğ Üster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencal İlkutay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Süreyya Temizalp kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gencal İlkutay. That made the score 0-4 in the 94 minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Kelkit FK's goal looked a bit too open when Yüksel Özsungur came free, but Birol Okyanus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
