After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Süreyya Temizalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kelkit FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Süreyya Temizalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Müfit Teksen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Süreyya Temizalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Müfit Teksen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Süreyya Temizalp was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. Kelkit FK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Müfit Teksen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. A collision led to TC☆ TRABZON getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ayhan Özdinç hit a great ball. TC☆ TRABZON's Müfit Teksen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save TC☆ TRABZON from getting a goal against them. Ali Galip Türkmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birol Okyanus having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Kelkit FK got a freekick which was hit by Aktuğ Üster. 28 minutes into the game, TC☆ TRABZON's Sabahattin Tükelay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birol Okyanus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Erdeniz Nuralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. TC☆ TRABZON's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Süreyya Temizalp scored to the left of an out of position Müfit Teksen, making the score, 2-1. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind TC☆ TRABZON's goalkeeper Müfit Teksen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Galip Türkmen to strike the kick off in the second half. Erdeniz Nuralp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kelkit FK's Birol Okyanus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Kelkit FK from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute Ali Galip Türkmen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birol Okyanus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kelkit FK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hazar Saraçoğlu hit a great ball. Sabahattin Tükelay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Birol Okyanus made a huge save. Müfit Teksen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süreyya Temizalp in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, TC☆ TRABZON's goal looked a bit too open when Süreyya Temizalp came free, but Müfit Teksen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes Kelkit FK got a freekick which was hit by Umut Ahi. Erdeniz Nuralp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the TC☆ TRABZON players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kelkit FK.
