Çağlar Kornes ran back to his position shaking his head. Renaut Buyck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Ömür İmdat in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Çağlar Kornes was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nadir Derdiyok prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute Doğukan Zevahir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nadir Derdiyok saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Ömür İmdat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renaut Buyck having to interfere. Tarabya FK's Nadir Derdiyok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taner Geylanlar in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bandırmaspor fully deserved thier win.
