The supporters of LaZMaNiA FC booed when göktuğspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enginalp Serter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yakut Şendoğan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Hakan Uruk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Mehmet Çağrı Tanyolaç made a huge save. Cemalettin Battal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Çeliker İltemur was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of göktuğspor:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LaZMaNiA FC:s goal. Mümtazer Açıker's late challenge caught a LaZMaNiA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mümtazer Açıker helped the player get up and apologised. Mümtazer Açıker hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Cemalettin Battal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Çağrı Tanyolaç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enginalp Serter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Orhan Veli Tekinalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enginalp Serter kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enginalp Serter to make the kick off. Cemalettin Battal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Çağrı Tanyolaç having to interfere. Mehmet Çağrı Tanyolaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cemalettin Battal in the 63rd minute of the match. Gencay Garipbaş hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cemalettin Battal in the 67th minute of play forced göktuğspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Çağrı Tanyolaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cemalettin Battal scored 1-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Çağrı Tanyolaç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Orhan Veli Tekinalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went.
