Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Lütfi Akartuna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nizam Tokdemir in the 3rd minute of the match. Idealtepe were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Erdemli's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cevdet Mertoğlu took the corner. The corner led to Idealtepe's Hamit Sufi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Hamit Sufi fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Idealtepe's protests and gave Hamit Sufi a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Idealtepe got a freekick which was hit by Hamit Sufi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ayhan Utku in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolga Uzsan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 19 minutes, Erim Dikmen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Erdemli and the Idealtepe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th minute, one of Erdemli:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Erdemli. The goalkeeper, Lütfi Akartuna, was totally fooled by Idealtepe's Cevdet Mertoğlu, who 21 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Nizam Tokdemir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Idealtepe's supporters rose to their feet, but Nizam Tokdemir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lütfi Akartuna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erdemli's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Volkan Yalazabey scored to the left of an out of position Lütfi Akartuna, making the score, 2-1. Zekeriya İltekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga Uzsan having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Nizam Tokdemir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Idealtepe's Volkan Yalazabey got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Batuğ Umur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Idealtepe's Nizam Tokdemir got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Erdemli! In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Idealtepe. Cevdet Mertoğlu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lütfi Akartuna. 3-1. Ayhan Utku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga Uzsan having to interfere. When Nizam Tokdemir came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Idealtepe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nizam Tokdemir couldn't finish the play. If Nizam Tokdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Erdemli's Zekeriya İltekin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Nizam Tokdemir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hamit Sufi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lütfi Akartuna having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Erdemli's goal looked a bit too open when Hamit Sufi came free, but Lütfi Akartuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Idealtepe's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
