The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of SiDe GenÇ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sarayburnu:s goal. After a rather tough play, Sarayburnu's Ulu Boz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. SiDe GenÇ's Hami İlsev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burç Onul in the 26th minute of play. Hami İlsev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burç Onul, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sarayburnu's Fazlı Tayfun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Sarayburnu from getting a goal against them. Sungur Eraslan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hami İlsev having to make a save.
