An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferid Sendur in the 21st minute of play forced Tarsus FK's goalkeeper Mustafa Emrah Özonder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Ferid Sendur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mustafa Emrah Özonder. Tarsus FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferid Sendur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kazım Berkman got free with Cihangir Şimşek in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Tarsus FK's goal looked a bit too open when Aydemir Yasun came free, but Mustafa Emrah Özonder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balikesir's Cihangir Şimşek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mahmut Masum in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Balikesir getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Vecdet Muharrem hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Mahmut Masum sped through Balikesir's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cihangir Şimşek. Ferid Sendur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Emrah Özonder having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Balikesir's Ferid Sendur got a free kick in the 74th minute. Kazım Berkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aydemir Yasun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
