Ekrem Sadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Suphi Oruk, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Bilge Kağan Erol was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Eyüp Urluk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eyüp Urluk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dilmen Hacıbeyoğlu made the kick off in the second half. Suphi Oruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulu İhya charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulu İhya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Besim İmralı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bilge Kağan Erol having to make a save. Malafa's Ulu İhya got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Ulu İhya off the ground. After 77 played minutes, NEW STAR FC's Ejder Sezal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bilge Kağan Erol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NEW STAR FC reached it. Ali Baran Ünsevin's late challenge caught a NEW STAR FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bilge Kağan Erol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eyüp Urluk in the 79th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eyüp Urluk in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bilge Kağan Erol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st match minute, Malafa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dilmen Hacıbeyoğlu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Besim İmralı in the 84th minute of play forced Malafa's goalkeeper Bilge Kağan Erol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eyüp Urluk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bilge Kağan Erol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After 94 minutes, Taci Suer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NEW STAR FC and the Malafa players grew even worse after the yellow card.
