In the 22nd minute Peyami Tolunbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bilge Kağan Erol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Berkant Kızılateş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bilge Kağan Erol. Malafa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Berkant Kızılateş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Dilmen Hacıbeyoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Güner Sökmensu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dilmen Hacıbeyoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Güner Sökmensu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilmen Hacıbeyoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Dilmen Hacıbeyoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malafa's supporters rose to their feet, but Dilmen Hacıbeyoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A collision led to Malafa getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ali Baran Ünsevin hit a great ball. Bilge Kağan Erol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyami Tolunbay in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peyami Tolunbay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Malafa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Peyami Tolunbay scored to the left of an out of position Bilge Kağan Erol, making the score, 1-2. Güner Sökmensu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dilmen Hacıbeyoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Peyami Tolunbay took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bilge Kağan Erol. Bilge Kağan Erol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Dilmen Hacıbeyoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Suphi Oruk struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Güner Sökmensu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malafa. The supporters of Mazlumu Getirin Bana! booed when Malafa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Seyfi Siddik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Peyami Tolunbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bilge Kağan Erol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bilge Kağan Erol stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peyami Tolunbay's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Dilmen Hacıbeyoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bilge Kağan Erol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peyami Tolunbay in the 81st minute of the match. Suphi Oruk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Güner Sökmensu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Mazlumu Getirin Bana! were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Malafa side.
